As a new comer to design I’m on a “learning journey” discovering new techniques, new software’s, new programing languages, new  everything and anythings, and I thought I would start up a bit of a journal/blog about it all, sharing cool tricks and techniques I find along the way.

The way I see it is that there are plenty of people in the same position as me, finished a design course, in my case a multimedia diploma, and now wanting to take it further to find a niche, and to do so I must explore all fields of design.

So what about me, Who am I? I’m a 18 year old Aussie boy that’s based in Perth Western Australia,  It has got to be one of the most un-inspiring cities with a very strange take on the arts…simply put it doesnt like it, it all about the mining over hear. I guess you could say I have   passion for design, I like to base everything I do on my loose version of the KISS principle (keep it simple stupid).  As mentioned i have completed studies in a multimedia design course, But i personally feel it didn’t offer me too much in the design side of things, Whats that mean? well  principles, theories, techniques, inspiration and especially the coding side of things, So i have brought it upon myself to educate myself on these very things and find a niche.

Keep an eye out for tutorials, These will be very basic but there seams to be a lack of them on the web, The first one will be on making a wordpress template out of an existing HTML template as this is what i have been doing for client currently.  that right coding! amoungst this there will be tutorials on photoshop, illustratior and plenty more, So keep an eye out.
